Lucid is an independent rapper out of Wichita, KS currently living in Las Vegas, NV. Coming up in Wichita, Lucid gained attention with his versatile approach to the game and began to do shows with major artists like Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, T-Pain, Tech N9ne and more. Eventually, Lucid landed a deal with Defient Records in Atlanta under Hustle Gang Records. Leading to more opportunities and an understanding of how the industry really works. A year later, the owner of the label became the full time manager for Kevin Gates and Lucid decided it was best if they went separate ways.

Now, a full time independent artist, Lucid is on the uprise quick. Lucid’s Godzilla Remix put him in a position to win fast, breaking Eminem’s Guinness World Record for most words rapped in 30 seconds. This led to a collaboration with Futuristic, which then led with a partnership deal with Dropout Records and now Lucid even assists with Futuristic’s new website Indie Amplify in the feature section and more.

With over a million streams on his last album, close to 30,000 subscribers and almost 2 million views on YouTube in the last year, the attention Lucid has worked to achieve for over 10 years is starting to come to fruition. Lucid is currently working on securing a couple big features…and potentially an album this Fall. Stay tuned.
